Laura Lovasz is a veteran educator: she has nearly 30 years of experience in the classroom and has taught students who range from middle school to college level. She is the founder of the educational non-profit, New Horizons Education, which serves under-resourced students in Southeastern Michigan. She currently teaches English at St. Catherine of Siena Academy in Wixom. Her first collection of poetry, The Genius of Henry Ford, was published in June of 2020.
